Utility, EPC and distribution projects need more than a catalogue match. They need the supplied product to correspond to the approved drawing, conductor range, voltage class, mechanical duty, coating requirement, packing method and delivery schedule. Jiujin Power uses an order-based review process so these requirements can be confirmed before production and checked again before shipment.
Scope of quality control
Our quality controls apply to power line fittings, pole line hardware, conductor clamps, insulator fittings, grounding products, fabricated steel components and related fasteners. The inspection plan is adjusted to the product type and the requirements stated in the purchase order, technical specification or approved drawing. Where a customer specification conflicts with a catalogue value, production should not proceed until the technical point is clarified.
1. Drawing and specification review
Before an order is released, the team reviews the model, dimensions, material, rated mechanical requirement, conductor or cable range, surface treatment, marking, quantity, packing and requested documentation. Critical dimensions and connection interfaces are confirmed against the buyer’s drawing or the agreed product data. This review is especially important for customized crossarms, pole bands, line fittings and products that must connect with an existing insulator string or conductor system.
2. Incoming material and process checks
Incoming materials and purchased components are checked against the order requirements and supplier documents available for the batch. During production, dimensional checks and visual checks are performed at appropriate stages. For galvanized steel products, the agreed coating requirement and appearance are checked after surface treatment. For clamps, insulators and grounding products, the relevant assembly, contact, fit and identification details are reviewed according to the approved specification.

3. Product-specific inspection
The inspection items depend on the product and project. They may include dimensions, material confirmation, assembly, thread fit, conductor fit, coating appearance, marking, packing and other checks requested by the buyer. Mechanical, electrical or coating test records are supplied when they are part of the agreed inspection and documentation package. Required standards, acceptance criteria and third-party inspection arrangements should be confirmed before production.
4. Traceability and documentation
Order information, approved drawings and inspection requirements are linked to the production and shipment process. Depending on the agreed scope, the document package can include product data, drawings, packing lists, inspection records, material or coating documents and shipment photographs. Buyers should identify mandatory documents at the quotation stage so the required records can be prepared with the order.
5. Packing and delivery control
Products are counted, identified and packed according to their size, weight, coating and transport method. Contact surfaces and finished coatings are protected as appropriate, while heavy fittings and fabricated components are secured for handling. Before shipment, the team checks quantities, package marks, packing-list consistency and any customer-specific shipping instructions. Delivery dates are tracked against the confirmed production plan, and material changes or schedule risks should be communicated before dispatch.
Examples covered by these controls
- FDL insulation-piercing grounding ring
- Hot-dip galvanized steel crossarm
- JNS-1A-2 four-core ABC dead-end tension clamp
- NLD bolt-type strain clamp
- XGJ center-pivot suspension clamp
