XWP2 Double-Shed Anti-Pollution Porcelain Disc Insulator
The XWP2 double-shed anti-pollution porcelain disc insulator is designed for use in suspension and tension insulator strings on outdoor overhead power transmission and distribution lines. It provides electrical insulation and mechanical connection between energized conductors and supporting structures.
Its double-shed porcelain profile is designed to provide an extended creepage path and support improved performance in environments affected by dust, salt, industrial contamination or other airborne pollutants. Materials and Construction
The main insulating component is manufactured from electrical porcelain with a glazed surface. Metal coupling fittings and the cementing system are supplied according to the approved product drawing and customer specification. Metal material, protective coating, coupling designation and assembly dimensions must be confirmed before production.
